I've nothing against Christians anyway. All of us in the West are Christians in the sense that we've grown up with it as the official sanctioned state religion. I suspect that some of the war-mongering elite so-called Christians really don't understand what it means, however. Have they read James for instance? It's hard to miss what that one's about. I suspect that most modern Christians have forgotten where their religion originated: as the religion of the slave and the oppressed, the poor, the hungry and the needy, and that, if it means anything, it is to eradicate these things from the world forever. That's what it means to me anyhow. Did you grow up in Alaska? How exotic! Glad you still like the blog. We were always told that fighting against the current of "the world" was the way to go, my youth group would have entire conferences about it. And, being from Alaska, the salmon was always our mascot, in a way. It is a clever phrase though, that is to be sure....

In any case, since I don't think I've said this yet, it's good to have you back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9752993.post-1150111137545408202006-06-12T11:18:00.000+00:002006-06-12T11:18:00.000+00:00Hey, CJ,Good job in going against the flow of nico...Hey, CJ,

Good job in going against the flow of nicotine addiction. Kicked over twenty years ago myself. It's never too late, Mate.

If you get a minute, and are in the mood for a giggle, check out my song "Back Fat Blue Jeans" on garageband.com. It might "crack" you up a smidge. Kinda goes against the flow a bit itself.

Cheers,

L.Ron Lee

(Ron Cunningham)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
